Its a delicious dish that everyone will love. You can skip the pasta if you wish.
Ingredients:
- 500g of chicken breast
- 1 chopped onion
- 6 cloves of crushed garlic
- Broccoli
- spinach - you can use fresh or frozen
- cherry tomatoes
- mushrooms - I prefer the brown one to give you that earthy taste
- 1 cup of cream
- Fresh basil
- Grated cheese - I used Parmesan and cheddar cheese
- Feel free to add any other vegetables you like
- Salt, pepper and dried herbs - I use oregano, thyme, and basil
Instructions:
- Fry the chicken with butter or olive oil and slice them and keep aside. You don't need to fully cook them.
- In a skillet add butter, cook the onion and garlic.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes then add the tomatoes.
- Add the spinach and cook for a minute then add the chicken.
- Mix them slowly then add some cheese. Pour the cream and stir for a bit, add the broccoli and rest of the cheese. Add the basil, season with salt and pepper and dried herbs.
- Boil the pasta and use 1/4 of the pasta water in your creamy sauce.
- Add the pasta to the sauce, cover the skillet and cook on medium to low for 20 minutes.
- You can sprinkle some Parmesan before serving.
What can the kids do:

- Wash the vegetables
